The Centenaire collection was created by Louis Vuitton in 1996 and featured unique items by 7 different designers. All seven items were limited and are highly collectible with some even being exhibited in museums. The leopard print "Alma" bag, designed by Azzedine Alaïa and was named for the Pont de l'Alma bridge on the River Seine in Paris. This rare bag was featured in the book "Louis Vuitton: Art, Fashion and Architecture."
